The text Simple Journalling for Gaelic Learners is written on a piece of yellow grid wasahi tape. In the background is an open journal on a green striped floral art paper

Keeping a diary, planner, or bullet journal is a creative way to practice your language skills wherever you are in your Gaelic learning journey. In this beginner-friendly online workshop, you’ll learn how to set up a basic journal while building useful vocabulary like:

  • days of the week and their abbreviations
  • months of the year
  • counting to 31
  • using ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.)
  • practical starter phrases

This online session is designed to be relaxed and accessible, with no prior experience needed. You’ll need a piece of paper handy, something to write with, and a pair of scissors.

All levels of Gaelic are welcome, including complete beginners. English will be used during the workshop.

All participants will receive access to downloadable reference sheets to use after the workshop to help you build your Gaelic journal habit.
